DESERTAS ISLANDS

A group of 3 uninhabited islands, which lies about 15 miles south-east of Madeira, Desertas are a Natural Reserve, primarily to protect the rarest species of monk seal : Monachus monachus, but is also known as an important sea bird sanctuary. After approaching Desertas, we will follow slowly along the coast, giving you a chance to take in this marvellous scenery of beautiful coloured rocks, dramatic sea cliffs and caves… We will anchor at Doca, where you can swim, dive and relax in this small bay of cristalline waters. After a delicious hot meal, you will be able to go ashore on a guided tour. Prices: Adults € 80 / Children dos 4-12, € 40.
